Martin Higgs is a senior vice president providing support and thought leadership for both internal and external clients relating to derivatives and collateral management for State Street Global Services throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In this role, he works closely with clients, consultants and operational teams to build innovative solutions that help support clients’ requirements around derivative products. Mr. Higgs created the model for the first longevity deal we supported for British Airways in early 2010.
Mr. Higgs joined State Street from the investment banking side of the industry in 2008, having worked with derivatives at several investment banks and broker dealers since 1998. He has extensive experience running operational departments covering derivatives and cash products, and has more than 30 years of experience working in financial markets.
In addition to speaking regularly at conferences, with clients and giving training presentations on all subjects relating to derivatives, he is also regularly interviewed by the media and quoted in the press.
